Privacy policy.
We collect limited data to understand how the site is used. We do not sell visitor data, run retargeting ads, or share information with third parties beyond what is described here.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools:
- Google Analytics 4 — measures sessions, content performance, and which pages lead to affiliate clicks. GA4 is configured with IP anonymization and only loads after you accept cookies via the banner below. You can opt out at any time via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-preserving tool that measures basic page traffic (views, referrers). It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not require your consent to operate.
Cookies and local storage
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish unique sessions:
_ga— expires after 2 years_ga_*— expires after 2 days (session duration; resets on activity)
These cookies contain no personal information. No other cookies are set by this site.
Your consent choice is stored in browser local storage under the key
rt_cookie_consent (value: granted or denied). This
is a local-only flag — it is never sent to our servers.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email, or any identifying information unless you contact us directly. We do not run Meta Pixel, retargeting scripts, or ad-targeting tools.
Affiliate links
Product links carry affiliate tags. Once you leave this site you are under the destination site's privacy policy (e.g. Amazon's). We have no control over data collected after you click. Amazon may set its own cookies when you follow a link from this site.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. Because we collect only aggregate analytics, we hold no personally identifiable data beyond what Google Analytics captures on your behalf. To exercise any of these rights, or to request deletion of analytics data associated with your browser, contact us at hello@reviewtattoo.com.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA.
Withdrawing consent
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the site footer. Declining will prevent Google Analytics from loading on future page views. Cloudflare Web Analytics is unaffected (it requires no consent).
